Just A Few Things

Okay so I am going to let you know about yesterday where I went to be evaluated for One Source Talent. They took my measurements and my photo and said, "Unfortunately, we don't have anything available for your demographics."

Translation: "I'm sorry but you're too FAT and we have nothing available for FAT people."

Did I let this bother me? No. I did not. I just simply told myself that they would regret not signing me or working with me right then and there simply because they only see this book by it's cover.

I kinda feel like they think anyone who is bigger than a size 2 is considered overweight. Don't they know that men want to see women with curves?

So...going forward from that... I walked 4 miles today at the Fayetteville McCurry Park. As soon as I got started walking, I had pain flame up in my left ankle then my right foot got to bothering me.

I knew what was going on. It was the Devil trying to persuade me to be lazy, but I got to thinking about my wedding gown I want to get into and have it fit comfortably, and God. I knew what by staying focused on those two things, that I would ignore the pain and plow straight on.

What I ended up doing is walking one full lap (which is the outer perimeter of the Picnic and Sport Trails) which came out to be 1.667 miles. Then I switched down to walking the shorter trail which is the Picnic trail at 0.8 of a mile. After that I switched over to the outer perimeter of both trails again only this time I walked all the way back to the car where I started and the pedometer said I walked 4.286 miles. I am so totally proud of myself. It's the greatest feeling in the world.

My measurements are 42,33,44. I know the first one will NEVER go back down but if I can get the other two to go down a couple of inches then I'll be happy.

My weight is 178 pounds and my goal weight is 140 pounds. That's 38 pounds I'd like to lose. And I know that I can do this. I just have to set my mind to it.

So this is it for now.
